Default sti vs v1 new zealand

after feed back of owners of both these units or if you own both even better.
in nz we have mostly 34.7 stalker and 34.6 cameras.
with the v1 i have, i get stuff all warning, about 150-200m .
just wondering if anybody finds the sti (or stiXR...nz version)any better.
one reseller here has letter from a "client" saying that they are getting 800m around cnr on the camera
xr version is $900 nz so if there is stuff all dif then i wont wast my money

    cheers guys

How many sections are you gonna post the same question. I've seen it in the General section, the Beltronics section and now here.

    Hi Phill,
With the 34.6 GHz cams My V1 8.26 has been able to detect 900 m and on other days only 200 m. This is because they run the camera across the road at 22.5 degrees. So sometimes there is no signal to detect, you will find this around low built area's eg flat country roads with little or no traffic. The same is for the sti as well. Some guys gets a hit at 800m around corner that's because the cam was probably pointing straight down the apex so the cop can get people as they exit the corner and have no time to slow down AKA a speed trap. My 900m detection was on a straight road with light rain 8) .. . . So I got a good refection lucky me. See what I mean.
Now beware stiXR...nz version Is a lie trust me they are the same detectors sold on this site all they do is turn off X and K band. This is done by a Aussie company called (I think) Nudetronic's.
As far as the stalker 34.7 GHz the V1 eats the sti in not only straight line detection but around the corner and most of all instant on. So what ever you don't think the Sti is better because it's not. There are some nice members in the US that would be happy to receive your detector send it in to VR get it checked over and send it back to you at a small fee (long term members). I would suggest this if you feel your detector is not up to par. PM me I'll hook you up with a real good guy.
To the other members that flame phill for reposting so what leave it to the amin's you control freaks.

PS New Zealand is V1 heaven, Ka, Laser only.If you are gettinging false's from Ka check you set up. Really I can't remember my last Ka false

    Complete and utter BS.
You have nothing to back your claims and just a word of mouth even if you use your STi and V1 day in and day out.

If you really have some proof on video, show it and do yourself a favor by doing some test. We would love to see it.

Well how about some tests done by an outfit called GOL "Honest, real and legit...."

Check out Oct 2006. V1 and STi both outstanding side by side. So complete and utter BS there.

Check out March 2007. STi a smidgen ahead here. So complete and utter BS there too.

Check out January 2008. V1 and STi locked in combat again with a smidgen of an advantage to the V1. So complete and utter BS there again.

Has there been any test by any organisation that's shown the V1 to "eat the sti in not only straight line detection but around the corner and most of all instant on"? Because I'm drawing blanks as to where ghz1 came up with his story.

Maybe it's time for you to stop calling me names and questioning my right to hold a view different to the sheep on here and come up with some facts of your own.
