Sound not working properly...
I just noticed last night that my V1 3.826 is not always alerting at max sound level. I have the knob all the way up and the mute ring about halfway up. Just FYI, the low sound level is on first alert, and it seems to be on the K band. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is this something I should send it back for? If I do send it in for service, will they automatically upgrade to the newest version, whatever that may be? Please let me know. Thanks!

did you buy your v1 new or used?
it seems like your v1 k band automute setting might be on.
make sure for option 7 in programming mode, the arrow is UP (default).
I only have options 1 and j down.
When you initially start the V1 and it goes through it's opening ceremony of lights and sounds, does it ever display a "P"?
