O Sh#t we still got a problem with "J" on the 825. i had a head on full ka alert melt down the cop was... about 20 foot in front me! between us was a camper van (could be a microwave oven going ???). As i past the cops fixed mounted ka Stalker 34.7 ghz My 825 went from all lights to "J" and stopped alerting me to the cop right there behide me :? . This is the first time in 4500 kms so it's no real problem to me.
Now other than that the 825 is very very good im very very very sure the large "L" mode is much much better. The main Change to "L' mode as far as i can tell is it can alert you to a false as you drive by it then stops! No front alert no back. This is telling me something has changed from the 813 and 824. Also it can alert at 6 bars or 7 then stop. You can live it now
Concerning sec 7 abc (I think dont have in front of me) You must progamme it in its NOT factroy set , Its the same as before (why would they change that :?: )
    regards .

Ps Sorry Clandestine could you test that for me? When you use euro mode it changes the feq for k band so ive never used it here in New Zealand. I would really love to see some euro people around here it would be kool to see how the V1 gets on in the mother land..

Sure, ghz1, you can bet I'll test it I hope to get it back from the upgrade by the end of August. The reason I am still thinking of upgrading is the fact that in my country they use Czech made stationary photoradars Ramet AD9 which operate on both, 34.0 GHz and 34.3 GHz(Multanovas work on 34.36 GHz) and since V1 in Euro mode doesn't sweep less than 34.2 it is not very useful in case of an Ramet AD9 encounter...

If that is the case i think you should keep it in the US mode. the 825 has a great ka superwide sweep. You may need to check out if the cops use K band in your area if so what feq eg 24.150 ghz.If they use the euro k band you need to get 2 V1'S LOL

    EURO MODE IS

    Ka photo 34.2----34.45 Ghz

    Ka pop 33.8 Ghz ????

    K band 24.035-----24.25 Ghz

    Ku 13.38------13.52 Ghz

    Regards
