I guess I should be angry with this global warming were having. The last couple of days the thermo-meter dropped below 20 degrees, and for the first time, the blasted suction cups let me down. I stuck the mount in my shirt pocket, warmed the windshield, and reapplied. I guess the "inconvenient truth" is, when it gets too cold, the rubber won't hold.

...and then turn the heater on to warm up the windshield. After 10 minutes or so I then placed my V1 back up and it has stayed there ever since.

I still have the original suction cups and I've found that about the only thing that works for me is using the heater to warm up the windshield. I had the V1 fall from the top of the windshield to the floorboards in a van the other day. I tried to catch it but to no avail. That's the first time I've sworn the whole way to work.
