    Exact same thing happened to my V1. The City of Thousand Oaks decided to put up 4 brand new radar signs and not a peep out of the V1. So off it went for a checkup and upgrade (might as well make it worthwhile). Upon return the signs are detected from a _long_ way off, so put me down for option #3.

    Radar signs are notorious for getting very off calibration.

    yea ive seen them drift off to like 24.03 on my X50. Lol.
