programmed settings question

Ok I just have a quick question. I was wondering if once you have your V1 programed that you can switch between having like all your program settings on and then just having everything on like in A mode. I wanted to see if I could do this because I would use the settings in the city and then if I went on a road trip I would just have it so everything is on. Is it like you have your programmed settings on little L and then have everything on in A mode? Or would I be looking at reprogramming the V1 every time I wanted to switch from all and the programed settings.

a mode disregards all settings, so yes. you can set it however you want, then you when you go on the highway you set it to all bogeys (a mode) and it will alert to everything.

So if I set the settings I want, will I need to put it in little L or big L for them to take place.

What settings are you looking for Collin?
(A) mode only overrides 7,b,C,d,E,F,G. (K band automute)

I am looking at having x-band off, pop off, and the option so K band doesn't alert until there are more than 4 lights. Then have A mode for open highway.

If you want to keep the factory settings, just switch it to A mode. For X and pop off, I believe it does effect A and L modes. A mode will let you run it on factory settings.

Turning off a band will affect all modes. Configuring the K-band automute settings starting from setting 7 only affect L modes.
