Default Need a carrying case for your V1?

I went looking at my local best buy for a carrying case for my V1. Didnt want anything big because It only needs to hold the unit, I leave everything else in the car.

I looked at camera bags but couldnt find any to fit. Looked at cd wallets, they were all to big. I finally found what I was looking for in the video game area.

Its a carrying case for a Nintendo DS. They had several colors, I chose black, but pink was available if that suits your tastes
Its got a nice little elastic strap which holds the V1 in place snuggly and then the case zips up.

Ive searched all over the net and have yet to find a online retailer that has the same case, amazon, Nintendos site, bestbuy.com, no luck.
But I will try and get pictures of mine up tomorrow.

Just thought Id give the heads up to those of you who dont want the huge V1 case. Best part is, Its only around 10-12 bucks.

now that you say it, I'm getting the case logic instead of the v1 case (shipping killed the deal).

    Default case

I use an empty Crown Royal bag to store my V1, works great, not to mention the contents within the bottle of Crown Royal it came with was quite tasty!

I didnt even think to go look at portable hard drive cases while walking around. Oh well, the one I got is about the same size, has the strap and was only 10-12 bucks ( well MUCH less for me, gotta love employee discounts )

haha, Yea the contents are good, but the bag is only good for preventing scratchs and want not. I actually may pick up a bag so when i store the V1 in my glove box it wont scratch, seeing as though my case wont fit the compartment.

But say you drop the V1 on concrete (never say never!) all the bag would do for you is prevent you from having to pick up the pieces that scatter everywhere.

Hope this is not the same as the one recommended above. The above link is broken...

This Case Logic portable hard drive case is excellent for V1. It fits the V1 main unit like a glove and is on sale this week at Circuit City. It looks very similar to the factory V1 case in terms of construction except much smaller.

Buy the Case Logic Portable Hard Drive Case and other USB & flash drive cases at circuitcity.com
