Default V1 Hardwire and custom mounted in Solstice GXP

Just wanted to show off a bit with my V1 install.

The before picture (temporary solution. The location of the concealed display covers a very annoying passenger airbag light.

Here is the almost finished product after some cutting and body filler:

I am having some custom paint done to the car as well and plan to paint the console flat black. Just wanted to get some feedback and give others some ideas if they own a solstice or Sky. Here is a pic of the car just for fun.

You are brave to cut the dash. Does that dash panel snap off?

As with nearly every GM out there, it should be held in with a few clips. It just takes a bit of prying to get it off. (GM has a clip fetish... nearly everything in the interior and even alot of the exterior trim is clipped in)

Anyways, with the Solstice GXP, you'll need the V1. The LNF in that light body makes it police bait (But not nearly as much as those guys who have shoehorned a Chevy LSx engine in a Solstice).

Not bad, not bad... but damn, clean that RVM of yours.
