V1 3.817, false Ka's

My V1 is suppose to be the first "pop" version, but lately I have been getting a lot of false ka alerts. Unfortunately, my version does not allow you to turn off "pop" thru settings. Should I go for the upgrade ($85) or stick with a tune-up? I really do enjoy the K range with this unit and would hate o lose that. Thanks for you help.

I would definately go for the lastest 3.864..if you unit has not been tuned you will see a huge improvement in K band believe it or not along with X (if its used in ur area) and Ka...also turning POP off greatly reduces the amount of false Ka alerts you will get...and if it false it will most likely be able to J out
