I don’t seem to have this problem. :P

I think we should make queue cards for new RD passengers that has standard questions and answers on it.

    Radar Detector passenger etiquette:

Don’t ask stupid questions like below, and when possible point out cops.
    Q-Hey why didn't it go off? There’s a cop?
A-Its a Radar detector not a Cop detector.

Q-Why's it going off in this parking lot?
A-Automatic doors in shopping centers use radar to automatically open the doors.

    Q-Do radar detectors really work?
A-Yes, most of the time if the cop leaves his radar on. Sometimes they will wait till they see you than turn it on and no RD will save you from that.

I'm copy/pasting this and printing one to keep in the glove box. You're brilliant!

I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8 with Quadra-Drive.... it's primarily our winter-mobile but I typically use it all year round for its consistent power and handling characteristics....

There's a new Chrysler 300C AWD sitting on my driveway for when I come home this weekend.... It replaces a '96 Honda Accord LX, so it's a huge step up. That'll be fun, but first we'll have to see how this athermic windshield and laser ACC will work out....
Have fun countermeasuring up the 300C!

Yeah, this isn't a free ride where you can take a nap. You have work to do to.

Some other questions I get are:

    1) Why is it beeping faster?
    2) Why did the beep sound different this time?
    3) Aren't RD's illegal here? (I live in NY)
    4) You paid $450 for that?!!? A speeding ticket is cheaper!

Losing your driver's license due to speeding is even cheaper. You no longer have to buy expensive gas and you'll even get a good workout when you go out.
