    Default Now THIS Would ROCK!!

Imagine if the nav screen could plot the location of the cop right on the map of your nav system? How much would you pay for a little black box that could do that??

Bluepole, that is even a better idea. Between the speedo and revo. Okay SWARGA, you need to get busy on this for us. I know you have the capability. In fact, I am a member of a couple of G37 websites and there are a lot of Cali owners. I am sure one of them would be willing to meet up with you for you to work some electronical magic.

Do you use the concealed display for the signals that the display interprets or do you wire directly into the v1?

    Wink

Goodness, what I would do for this functionality. I just bought a new Honda Civic Si with the navigation screen and if it could display that with voice alerts like the built-in navigation has, I'd probably have to change my underpants.

The HUD One interface box (with an embedded microcontroller inside) plugs directly into the V1 - it's a complete replacement for the regular Concealed Display. Take a look at how the Stealth One connects and you'll see exactly how this works.

To do something similar for the Infiniti nav, a good place to start is the service manuals. Anyone have a copy?

I emailed Stealthone to see if there are any plans to make a product for Infiniti G's.

I had a Stealth one in my M3. Instead of displaying arrows it displayed F, S, or R for front, side and rear. I'd really prefer arrows. Plus, there's not too much difference in turning your head to look at the V1 or the Nav display. The remote display can be mounted closer to your line of sight so I would recommend the remote display rather than a nav display.

On some of the BMWs, 5 and 7 IIRC, the multifunction display below the speedometer/tach was used and it did show actual arrows vs. F, S, and R.

Thats why i like between the info screen over the nav screen. Thats one of the pluses for mounting the v1 near your visor is you can keep the volume down for passengers and still view the arrows without taking your eyes off the road.
