Windshield tint strip and laser at night

My windshield has a 70-80 percent tint strip at the top from the factory. It's really hard to see it unless you look for it against a white wall or in the sun. How much would it affect laser detection at night if I mount the V1 behind it?

you know I was going to ask this same question, i was wondering if I put my v1 behind the tint strip, would this affect laser.

I recommend just below the tint strip.

My setup is behind the factory tint strip and I don't have any problem with it at night or day time wit regards to laser or radar.
