V1 not picking up X band?

POP is and can be used regardless of what the manual for the POP mode radar gun says. It's just hard to find it being used. Very slim chance you may find it, but when you do, IT'S PRICELESS!!!

Well, it doesn't really make a peep anyway. It's actually really quiet. I'm surprised, I thought it would be going ape **** all the time because of what people say, but it's not. Only when I go past walgreens or CVS really does it pick anything up. I guess there's really not a lot of radars bieng used around where I live or work. The only reason I turned it off was because you said it got more range, and I did look at GOL website and they did get a little more range with it so I figured I'd just turn it off. I had been debating between the 9500i and the V1 because I had heard that the V1 falses a lot and was really annoying and such, but that it was the most sensitive. Well I'm really glad I got the V1, since there really isn't a lot of falses around here. Like last night, I got a good burst of K band then weant dead. I knew there was never any falses around there and told by girlfriend that I bet it was real police radar using instant on, and sure enough, went past a building and there he was, clocking people in the oppisite direction. It was sweet. Anyhow, I trust V1, and when it talks, I will listen.
