    Default Florida programming?

    i live in south florida what is the best set-up for florida...programming wise

    Turn off X band and you will be all set.....

    to turn off X band i will need to turn program number 1 down which is off correct?

    Yea sonvan2008. In Florida, all you need to turn off is X Band. I live in Miami and that all I have Programmed. I just keep my V1 in A Mode and enjoy the ride.

    Also, if you want some more substantial proof that X band isn't used in Florida check this out.

    15B-2.0082 Minimum Design Criteria for Radar Units.

    (2) All radar units used in this State on or after January 1, 1995, shall be designed to operate in one or both of the following frequency ranges as assigned by the Federal Communication Commission for operation of Doppler radar radiolocation units.
    24.050 – 24.250 GHz (K - Band) (Common
    33.400 – 36.000 GHz (Ka - Band) (Referrals)
