Any V1 X, K, KA alert sound files?

how long are you using it? you should have no problem after a few days i reckon. i have X off as its not needed here. i only left on Ka just in case but theres none here either unless i turn off the false guard

X is a high-pitched beep. K is a lower-pitched, raspy "brap".

When you turn on the V1, the first thing you hear is the X beep, K brap, muted X beep, muted K brap, then the laser "doo-dee-doo-dee" sound. So, listen to the power-up sounds and get familiar with the difference between the first two sounds (beep brap).

It took me almost a month to tell the K and Ka apart. But of course I was coming from an Escort product where the sound is very different.

I have X band turned off most of the time but I'll be traveling to an area with known X band so I need to retrain my ears for the alert.

I hate K band..i hate the sound for it on the v1 and STi..and its just uselss in general..i have only run into a few leos that use it and its mostly falses from CVS

I agree, I've actually never been hit by it but I know they run it somewhere around here. I figure rather safe than sorry.
