Anywho, I still haven't yet programmed Laser off, as I had planned -- the idea being that the LPP will handle all the laser work. I don't feel I quite know my V1 or my LPP well enough yet.

i wouldnt turn laser off on my V1 TBH. thats sacrilege .

seriously though, it could still provide you with a save from laser scatter detection even though the LPP will do all the laser work that counts. some may call it overkill but why not?

I sure know what you mean about the panic, though. Even with the jammer, I still kinda panic when I hear the laser. No doubt that is why I never noticed the 3 bar l.e.d. display accompanying laser alerts. Looking around like a gopher on speed, slammin on the brakes, and trying to locate the source of the alert.

usually laser hits can happen so fast i dont blame you for not seeing the actual V1 laser alert display. ive only seen it once on mine TBH but theres no mistaking the V1s laser audio alert, thats for sure

Don't feel too bad. Most of the laser alerts I get are so short that by the time I would turn my head to look at the display the alert was already over. I never saw the three bars either.

This was before I had my concealed display, of course.

I hear ya...lol. There hasnt been a single time when I didnt jump half a foot off the seat from a laser alert. At least with Ka it starts slow and ramps, laser is the devil!
