Default im going crazy with indecision

ok so i hated how much my V1 falsed so i gave it to my dad and got a 9500i. but now im worried that ive made a huge mistake. im thinking maybe i should just get another v1 and learn to deal with the falses. im really scared that the 9500 with its weird ramp-up is going to end up screwing me in the end.

    thoughts?

ok, this was weird. I could have sworn I posted a reply to this a few minutes ago . . .

There are ways you can minimize "falsing' on the V1. Expert mode allows you to turn features like POP off which helps reduce falsing. However the 9500i is a great RD, and if you choose to keep it I think you'll be in great shape. It's as good an RD as the Valentine any day, of course no arrows but spec mode is an excellent consolation feature.

you did. lol. i wanted to get opinions from V1 owners and 9500i owners. I think I will be fine. But I just hate knowing I have something that had I spent a tiny bit more money, could have had the best. you knoiw?

The best is a 9500ci, which costs significantly more than either of these RDs.

but the 9500ci doesnt have rear radar protection. i dont understand why "you know who" and valentine have a front and rear detector and escort doesnt.

i eventually want the 9500ci but i dont want to spend the money right now while my business is on the ground floor. its just not a smart investment.

even when i do buy the 9500ci though, i still dont have rear radar protection... so do i really have to buy a 9500ci AND a V1. to me that just seems excessive.

The 9500i does have rear radar protection. It just doesn't have arrows to tell you that's what it is. You have to interpret the ramp ups to figure out what is coming from where.

u going to be pretty close to the CI money wise.

the zr4 plus the 9500ix will be almost as much as the CI, and the CI is pretty much a beast.
