    Well, it is the latest. I don't think they made any technological or feature changes over the 3.864, but they did change the board. No big deal. I just got mine three days ago and it is a 3.864. They should both perform the same. (I've been told)

    Thanks for the info. That explains a lot. 34.6 is also used by American Traffic Solutions in various states. They use a proprietary radar system. It is angled at 22 degrees to the road and is pretty easy to detect.
