    Angry V1 acting up?

I turned my V1 today, while pressing the knob? or pressing it, the laser ( three lines) showed up and look-up the V1, it's happened at least 2 times and I can not reproduce it again

    Any one experience this?

    What?

Nothing like yours, but I think happya$$ (?) had a WEIRD laser issue with the photosensor or whatever its called. When he put his finger over the red dot, the laser would alert.

You are right, I went to my car, turn on V1 and blocked the front lens, sure enough the laser does alert

Can some one confirm this is the same as your V1

    TIA

I have noticed with my detector that if I have my hand towards the front of the unit, it would set the laser detection off. I thought it was to do with light reflecting off my watch or something.

I'll try it in my car on the way home.

    BTW I'm running v1.7 revision 2.879.

I can't seem to find that video for the life of me...

He was sitting in his drive way or something, had the V1 on the dash I think, and put his finger right in front of the sensor.

Please do me a favor, turn on the V1 and then block the front lens on the left side ( lens facing the windshield ) and see if you could set laser off

    TIA

Before we get into a whole RVM situation again, define the 'front' and the 'back'.

I call all the LED's and knob the 'front'. The big lens is on the 'back'.

You are sticking your hand in front of the huge horn? Or the rear small horn?

The front is the big black lens ( opposite the side has knob/LED) when V1 mounted on RVM, it's facing the windshield

When you put your hand on it, then remove , I think V1 would trigger the laser

The best way is to remove the V1 out of RWM and block the lens when it's power on,I have tried on mine and able to duplicate a couple time,

    Regards

    You are the man, blue!

I tried looking for on here for it, but I obviously missed it. After deciding it wasn't happya$$'s, I tried to look for outrun's Youtube account and, well, that's as far as I got.

    Thanks again!

fast car, you have anything like this?
