V-1 POP3

I was glancing over at another radar forum and a post from (V1 Dave) mentioned something about POP3 coming out? Has anyone heard about this.

To my knowledge there isn't a "POP 3".
Some websites have called it POP 3 for some reason, I suspect it is because the "Bee 3" radar unit has pop mode and somewhere along the line someone combined "POP" and "Bee 3" to come up with the term "POP 3" and other people started using the same term...

I had just found this forum, so as I googled other RD forums I ran across the other and just saw that post but didnt look at the date :P I guess it was a while ago

Anyway Im always excited when something new comes along in the RD world and thought that may be it.

For some reason they called it Pop3 on radarbusters:

Under the * note it used the term pop3. Not sure if that was a typo or what.

Yeah I noticed Roy did that in a couple of places...

Maybe that was an un-intentional combination of the BEE3 and POP? POP3 is also the type of server used for most e-mail services, so Roy might have had that floating around amongst all the technical alphabet soup in his head.

Even if VR had something new coming out I can guarantee we wouldn't know until it actually hit the streets.
