    Default Hardwired my V1

I hardwired my V1 yesterday. Then I turned off the V1's X and K band since almost all of my real threats are Ka band or laser. I'll let my 9500ci take care of the rare K band and never seen X band. Anyhow, now I have the best of both, spec display and the quietness of the 9500ci along with the arrows and bogey of the V1.

Is your camera built into the mirror? Is so that's pretty sweet.

Yep, I like because it's trouble free. It's hardwired and starts recording automatically. It uses SD cards. No hassle. I bought it here.

Nice unit DJ. I looked into it before. I think the only downside is max SD card size. If I recall it's 2 GB? Can you confirm?

I might have to buy one those mirrors, I would hack it to pieces, but it would be cool to have.

Yep, 2GB. It's about 3 hours of recording time. It will not read SDHC cards, so 2GB is the max for non-hd sd cards.

Hey DJ, I was looking into something like that, and like that it is square, makes the interior look better. But do you think it would be possible to etch the 9500ci display into it? Or even the STI-R & 9500ci?

mmmmmmmmmmm I never thought of shutting K off on the V1 and letting the Escort handle that band.
