    yep, that was me

    here it is again........

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgIHZPLWgAk"]YouTube - V1 laser scatter detection[/ame]

    the LPP was switched on for the first alert on the V1 but never alerted due to being mounted much lower on my cars front end. after i saw where the LEO was hiding (behind the signpost on the right) i switched it off as i was pretty close at this stage and didnt want to get noticed jamming .

    you can hear me turning it back on again near the end of the video.

    i always have the laser detection switched on on my V1. events like this can give you an advanced warning of a laser trap up ahead, which is quite rare .

    also i find that if i have a window down when im driving, it can hinder me from hearing the LPP buzzer and the V1 is louder so i usually hear that over it all.

    scares the $hite out of me every time

    not in my case sadly as my V1 is mounted so that it cannot be seen from outside and due to my cars rear windshield shape, rear laser never set it off yet unless i was trying really hard to do so with a laser gun.

    ive been hit twice from behind so far. one was a save in june and the other was on a recent vid i made when jamming for fun and it didnt alert to either .

    the price of a stealthy install i suppose.......

    My V1 is mounted high on behalf of Mike's advice for better radar reception.

    On the lidar encounter I had this weekend, the V1 picked up the LIDAR with no problems.

    Leave it on just like someone mentioned... to pick up scatter.
