Anyone here ever met Mike Valentine?

Not me, but he seems like a wicked nice guy everytime I've spoken to him. Extremely down to earth and laid back. I really like that a company that makes a product as great as his (and well known to those informed about Radar) still picks up the phone himself quite often and deals with the customer...as opposed to a rude receptionist that shields all calls from the boss (Escort). And sometimes when you get the boss at Escort, you tend to feel like he's super fake, and pushing a product on you as opposed to just talking and giving you the facts/info.

VR's phone greeting tells alot about Mike. He doesn't hide behind a bunch of people, but he's out there taking care of biz.

I never met him, but I thought about writing him a letter about how satisfied I am with his product and that I bought a second one.

I think responses to threads like this pretty much tell the story for others to read as far as Valentine Customer Service goes.

I've spoken to Mike V before. Talked for 15 mins on the phone invited him to bring his posher over to New Zealand and enjoy this lovely country. he joked that the freight would be too much. I was taken back how nice he was.
