Why doesn't escort do it? You got me! They certainly could. Maybe they don't want to go into the added expense and installation problems of adding a rear detector for the owners.

Woah that is a sick remote!! I wonder if the new whistler everyones getting hyped up about will be a remote with directional

All I can say is that I would like to see Valentive come out with other models like all the other companies have. With the current. we dont need to change attitude V will eventualy end up in the positin of the big 3.
I dont want to see that happen, buy they will have to market more than 1 product to stay competitve sooner or later. When a current V1 owner wants a new toy his options are to do some minor update of a current unit.(BFD) or go buy something from a competitor. Either way, V makes little or no $.

You know that might be. I hope the new whistler is much better at detecting radar then this one is. Yes, it detects radar direction but it needs much better radar reception like the new remote Bells have.

X2, I'd settle for 695 performance if it was on both Front and Rear and had directional indicators, might not be the best reception you can expect from a remote, but it would definitely be stellar, if both front and rear were 695 performance that is.
