I run well over the PSL all the time, almost always without a rabbit, because I'm impatient. I know it will cost me tickets at some point, but I'm OK with that. I drive too fast to expect to be saved from every ticket. I realize that. I just want to be able to drive the speeds I like, without threat of losing my license. Having all the countermeasures I do affords me that luxury.

^^^X2. GHz, if I was in your shoes I would do the same thing. I'd rather chance a ticket than incur the "wrath".

you're the reason why cops believe all drivers who happen to have a detector own it for the purpose of driving recklessly. which is why they tend to target drivers that they see have detectors, and are less likely to give a warning once they see it. the rest of us that use it for the occasional times we may not realize we're over the PSL pay the price for it. well done.

There is some truth that headlights do have some effect dj. I brought up a question which I posted a while back shooting laser at dusk with headlights on. Results vary from vehicle to vehicle and also depends on the distance and laser gun used. There was a video around here were a civic with DRL's showed an E code and just could not find it.

Oh really? Please explain how this is possible, since I've never in my life been pulled over for speeding with a RD on my windshield. This is part of the beauty of having remotely installed RDs. When the LEO looks around my car, they see no sign of a RD, which certainly would make it hard to equate fast drivers like me with RDs.

I don't have any problems getting speed readings when I shoot laser at night. I don't notice any difference between night and day in speed aquisition time.

Oh my mistake......I thought you ran a V1 on the windshield as well.

And for some reason it doesnt surprise me that an officer has never said:
"I pulled you over because you have a radar detector"

    or

"I'm writing you a ticket instead of a warning because you have a radar detector"

Similar to the fact that they've probably never told anyone:
"I pulled you over because you're black"

    But thats just me

I do, but this is only a recent addition.

Now you're going on some crazy tangent. You specifically accused me of being "the reason why cops believe all drivers who happen to have a detector own it for the purpose of driving recklessly". Again I ask, why would a cop associate reckless driving and RDs because of me, when no cop could have possibly seen my RD after pulling me over for driving recklessly, not to mention the fact that I've never been accused of reckless driving?
