Definitely not silent. Turning off X band and pop will eliminate about half the false alerts.

I have X band on due to it being a threat here. On my trips to work, school, and around town I have more K falses than X falses.

Really depends on where you are and the way you have it programmed. We have no risk of X band here (unless you want to know if the doors will open as you drive through the front of a restaurant!), so with that disabled and set in l mode, I find it borderline acceptable. The additional K-automute should solve my issues...

I'm so glad X isn't a threat in Florida. I have enough falses with K door sensors.
