V1 Third Brake Light Laser False - VIDEO

Does anyone know why it's not a constant alert? V1 only alerts for 1-2 seconds, even though you can see clearly in the video that the third brake light is still illuminated...I can't figure out why it wouldn't be a constant alert...

don't really know stays constant for me. might also have to deal with distance from the tv(trailvoy) it seems like once you get to close it won't alert anymore

I followed that Trailblazer for about 3 stop lights to test stopping distance and the effect of the alert. It seemed that it would only alert within approx 10 feet, once closer the alert goes away.
