    Default V1 Brightness????

After Hardwiring V1 last night. with Conceal Display
I noticed My Conceal Display was changing Brightness(bright to dim)
    I hardwired to 7.5amp fuse....
is this Normal for Conceal display to change brightness?

    I read this in Manual

Brightness – Automatically matched to ambient
    lighting; no manual adjustment

This means the brightness of the concealed display will adjust to the amount of light present in the car. During the day, the brightness will increase. During the night, the brightness of the display will go down. Other RDs, such as the 9500ci, have this feature as well.

Were you under lights? The photosensor doesn't like lights, so it will pulsate.

    The difference is noticeable.

At night if you open your car door, the light will come on inside the car. The V1 will quickly brighten to adjust. If you then put your finger over the sensor, you should see it get dimmer.

At 0:20 you can see how the IR from the remote, hits the sensor, making the V1 think it got REALLY bright.
