Cool I'm one of you guys now!

My Escort 8500 x50 recently died, giving me the dreaded "Service Required!" message. At 4 years old, of course, it was out of warranty and I'm out of luck. So I decided to go with the company that doesn't believe in "planned obsolescence" and get a V1. I've always been attracted by good customer service, as should everyone. I'm stoked to get my V1 on Wednesday and I've only got 1 question...

Does anyone want to buy a dead Escort?

Any suggestions on what to do with the dead Escort?

Sounds funny but since it died the only thing I've used it for was holding the door from my house to my garage open while I carried crap back and forth.

Congrats on your V1. For 80 dollars you can send the X50 in and get it back like new.

Fix the X50 and keep it as a backup.
