Externally mounted V1?

Has anyone ever tried this? Mounting their V1 outside their vehicle and using the concealed display? I considered a dome-style device right above the center of the windshield on the roof, which would look almost like a GPS or Sirius antenna..or mimic something of that sort... but seeing how people mount their laser jammers, and the AL6.. maybe mounting the V1 behind the grill on the front of the car? Maybe put a protective case around it just to be safe?

There's a website out there that sells "cases" to be used to remote mount the V1. Not something I would do, but I am sure people have done it before.

Yes , it can be done easily . First you need a product called ''liquid latex''.

Or any similar product . The main problem is sealing the connectors , the around the casing : everywhere the moisture can get in , it wont stop the signal except the laser : so seal just a round the lenses .

I did my blinder control with it .

Casing are way too bulky and the problem is passing the wires without letting the moisture get in : if so your unit won't last long .
