Why Ka guard off why

I know they said wanted the most sensitive settings, but come on most users will keep it on, and maybe adjust POP.

Cause with ka guard on the V1's would have only won 1/3 of the ka band test.

I know but since all the other brands were tested with factory default settings, all the V1's should have been run with factory default ie. ka guard on.

I feel that running the V1 with ka guard off is misleading to prospective V1 owners since it is not reasonable for most to run it in this way due to the amount of ka falses they will experience.

I thought the Whistlers were also run with a similar to ka-guard-off setting also?

+1. At the very least its result should have been put in the extra section like where they put the 33.8 straight line test results ... they should not have had it topping the Ka results IMO. Then again, it's their test and they can do whatever the hell they want.

No Whistlers were operated at default settings for the Real World Pop on, Ka Max, Filter 1

Filter mode (the shortest delay time) is the factory default on Whistlers.
