    Default VR customer service

    gets two thumbs up from me.

    I've had my V1 for almost two years now and have been slightly annoyed with a K-band ghosting problem. I blew off getting it fixed because my V1 is almost ESP like on K-band and it has saved me more times than I can count on K-band, and most of my threats are local K-band. I never saw a drop in sensitivity since I've owned it either.

    I called VR today and asked what the turnaround time was looking like on my V1. I didn't know what to think because nothing got charged to my card and they had my V1 since last friday (and I feel naked w/out my V1). The lady was really nice and polite and asked my last name then told me they replaced a board and some components at no charge and it was sent out yesterday, second day air, and I should have it tomorrow.

    Even if the ghosting is still there I can't complain too much as the price was right.

    Nice. I still haven't gotten around to sending mine in for the tune-up following the GOL pwn4g3. But when I do, I'll be posting my impression of the CS here!

    It's always nice to get something fixed for free. You must have had an issue that was chronic so they took care of you and a group of others as they came in.

    I have only talked to one lady since the 90's and I have never had an issue with the infamous "old lady". I think some customers have unrealistic expectations and get grumpy when CSR's don't smooch their hind side.

    When I sent mines in for a tune up I called to change my mailing address. The lady was very polite and changed it right away for me. I have heard stories of the "old lady" as well. They did charge me the $45 so I was not as lucky as you.
