Default I had to turn laser off on my V1....

because it won't STFU! V1 has great laser sensitivity but it false alerts like a SOB. I got tired of putting up with it and turned laser off, so much better now. Besides, my laser jammer is for laser so I don't really need laser on the V1. Brake lights, traffic sensors, the sun, and everything else sets off laser. Ok, I'm done complaining.

Exactly !!! It's a real shame you can't dial it in a little. The only dial is OFF.

Would putting a piece of clear tape help? I never tried it but if someone would want to test it. I dont think it would affect radar would it?

WOW. Something may be wrong with yours, cause I do a lot of driving, in the big cities and rural and I only get a false about 1 time a week on mine, and it usually is the vehicles that use laser cruise.

Consider yourself lucky, with my old-car it used top be an SOB... I never got to the point where I turned it off, but I surely ignored it many times.

Brakes lights/ Cruise controls/ the sun etc... its like the list never ended with it.

StealthJamal, was it mounted behind your tint too? In this car it really helped me.

What version are you running? My 4 week old 3.872 has only falsed to a few Infiniti's and those new Buick SUV's. No sun / traffic sensor noise at all.
