Help me Just got a used Valentine One Idk how to use it

I just got this thing for only $200 of craigslist... great deal! And it says "P" thats it... How can i adjust the settings? Ive looked online but cannot find anything... What does P mean is there a guide or something somewhere? I live in california... if that matters... any help or advice?

Go to V1 website and download the owners manual. Also click on specs tab and "How to reprogram V1" and print that out. You will want to know what software version you have, but that is all covered in the How to reprogram.

The "P" means the settings have been changed from factory default.

It shouldn't dispay "P". The display should be "A", "L" or "l". Now you know why it was only $200. It's busted. Can you post a picture of the display, or maybe a video of the startup? What version is it?

It can display P on start-up.

Sorry, it displays the P on startup then the P turns into an L shortly after... thanks for all the advice... ive watched numerous videos i just dont get what the seperate bands are for and everything... .which settings do you guys recommend?

I run mines in "A" mode.

P means the setting have been changed, go into the settings menu and change all of the arrows up, follow this guide. Ask Mike - Report #3 The L means logic mode, read the instruction book on how to use these settings.
