    It is most likely the display on the radio that is causing it. The same thing happens with the factory radio in my G8. It also causes my STi to give laser alerts.

    The display backlight is probably pulse-width modulated.

    The same thing happens with almost any LCD screen, including the nav system in my car and the LCD monitor on my desk.

    I find it quite useful for testing my HUD-One code.

    Nothing new.. I get the same thing with my LCD screen and the red-lettered readout at the top of the dash.

    The concealed display will do the same thing if you hold it up to the front of the v1. I couldn't get it to set off the rear alert though.

    If you mount it where they advise, high and close to the windshield, then no biggie.

    It is a cool way to demo the LIDAR alarm tho!

    Yep my V1 falses to my in dash navi screen as well

    My BMW's radion display does the same thing.
