V1 Version

Bought a V1 version 3.864 is what it says. Can anyone tell me the quality of this software version?

it's pretty good, I have one and on k-band during our last test it beat everyone out, even the ci. It does tend to ghost more then a new 872 but it does not J out a lot even with pop on. I drive 120 miles each day and in the past 2 weeks I have gotten one 1 J out, not bad in my book.

Well, its the only I've owned and currently own. I'd say mediocre at best concerning reliability. I bought it in May 08 and had to send it in for the "E" in Sept 08. Currently, It is falsing more on Ka than I think it should. Ka guard is on and POP off and I'm still getting some Ka falses. I'm going to have to try my reverse psychology skills with VR if I get the bat on the phone.
Like LG, ghosting here and there.
For range, you have good and bad encounters like every rd.

I was just looking at the last GoL test and it looked like the 3.864 version of V1 sucked....Guess it is going on Ebay as soon as I get it.

why not just send it in to upgrade to 3.872 or latest?

It is much more than 40, a tune up costs 45.

Not worth it...If you add what I paid on top of $140 I could get a new one....I will just sell it.
