have got used to the j feature and the ghosting

i must say after 3 mths of having a v1,that i dont mind the junk feature.
was first worried that the rd might just miss/forget to warn about a signal but have found that 99.9% of the time any j warnings are junk signals.
so once the tone is heard /seen i can make up my mind on the signal.
as for the ghosting well... whats the diffence between one or 2 signals.
none just slow down on the alert and once its gone then the ghost goes aswell

I agree with you 100%. Although last night I was driving home in the dark on South 51. I got a weak Ka and then....J. But being pitch black I slowed down. Minutes later I got a strong KA then the ^ > V so I don't know if was a anus ISP officer or not..... :?

i hate to be the "one" but i have to disagree...

the whole reason i bought a v1 was because of its consistent and accurate performance...and both of these problems dont live up to that integrity. i owned a pre-pop unit and it worked flawlessly. also the bogey lock tone not working correctly is also annoying. i almost got nailed by a 2nd leo waiting at a trap because of this. i guess it all depends on who you are...

im sending my unit in tommorow, because for me, it is a problem. (and im comparing v1 to the standards it set for itself previously).

I currently have a 3.826 v1.8 and I currently did not get ghosting on K 24.162GHz . So for my unit the problem of ghosting was resolved.
