Default How to fix V1 under warrenty?

I bought my V1 from a seller called brasse101 on ebay that was delevired to me here in western australia from him which came from the US. Good transaction and ive loved the V1 since I got it, Got it six months ago, well, it stopped working a week ago, nothing happens when i connect it to power( ive checked the power cord on an older detector and it works fine). I cant seem to work out how to contact brasse101 on ebay because im hoping its covered under warrenty. If any of ye guys can help me troubleshoot possible problems that i can check first that would be good.

Ps. The main reason I want to get this sorted out asap is because I got done by a handheld this morning 5am, nothing but me on the section of road, was in a 60 limit with a 90kph around 200mtrs in front of me so started speeding up just before the limit change, cop did me at 81 just before the limit changed to 90kph .............. Its only a $150 fine but its 2 demerit points that I dont want considering it was in no way dangerous. Ah well its now time to fix my V1 (with yer help) and to launch every speeding ticket deffence availabe to me against the revenue raisers!! Thanks.

V1 warranties are only for the original owner, and are non transferable.

If you didn't buy it directly from Valentine, I'm afraid you're out of luck. However, if you can find brasse101 and he has the paper work and (V1 is still under warranty) he could get it done for you.. That is if everything's legit on his part.

If not, you're stuck with what you have. Sorry.

    Good luck.

Thanks for quick reply mate, If I cant get it fixed under warrenty i will bite the bullet and pay to fix it my self, The fact is that the V1 has already paid itself off so many times I cant complain about fixing it, its a licence/job saver!

    No problem.

You can always call Valentine and see how much it cost to get it fixed. If you have a friend in the state's that could send it in for you it might be a lot cheaper.. Not sure about this. Just throwing it out there.

Call them and see if they can ship it back to you. Pay whatever it takes, but only is the seller doesn't reply back to you.
