V1 carrying case... Have you tried to put your windshield mount in there?

The reason why I'm asking is even though there's a place to it, it doesn't look like the place you're supposed to put the windshield mount with the suction cup works. Is it just me?

I've got everything in the V1 case.V1,coiled cord,mount power adaptor and concealed display.Its a little tight but it zips up fine.

I fit everything in mine too. Most if the time I don't bother to try to stick the suction cups to the place fir them in the case I just stick it in there.


I keep the V1 coiled cord CD cig lighter plug little cord for CD and an extra bigger straight cord.

Everything fits in mine just fine. The suction cups don't stay stuck to the hard 'shiny' spot in the case worth a damn, but I just place the mount with suction cups attached in that spot and it fits perfect.

As a side note, I got the case as a gift and wasn't sure how much I would actually use it, but it is extremely useful. Great for taking the car in for service or when you are driving someone elses vehicle.

Everything fits fine for me:

1. V1

2. CD

3. Backup 12v plug

4. Backup 8 ft cord

I use a visor mount, but I can still fit the original mount as well.


* Items 3,4 aren't used daily, I only need them for rental cars.
