Great sights at the car show

I went to a local car show this weekend. Mainly classics and muscle cars. I go with my mechanic every year, since we're both gear heads.

Anyways, so we start with the swap meet and I'm hoping to find someone selling a V1.7 next to nothing, but didn't find any.

I did find some cheapo one made in Korea.........we both laughed.

Fast forward about an hour, we are watching the autocross and I check out some of the cars that are parked near by.

One guy in a 1959 Corvette has the V1 mounted low with a cable.........

And another guy in a newer Vette has a V1 as well.

I tried to talk to the first guy to mount his V1 higher, but being that I'm 30 and he's about 60, he just wouldn't listen.

Anyways, I thought it was cool to see some folks using high quality equipment, because all I see in traffic are Cobras and the occasional Escort 8500.

Past couple of small car shows I went to I have noticed that more older people have V1's as for the younger adults have cobras or other less then affective RD's.
