Tried searching on 3.864 and 3.872 to see what the differences are on my two V1's. Got no hits!
I'm new here so maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Any help appreciated.

Although their are certain members on here who will bash you if you ask questions, and tell you to use the search function, it sucks, flat out. There's no tips to using it, it either gives you a million threads with no relevance, or doesn't give any results. You are better off searching the site through Google, it works better.![]()
X2. The forum web engine (which is a commercial product) needs a text indexer like dtSearch. But none of these replies answers your question !!
found this on google - looks a little long in the tooth.

If you don't have 3.826, get upgrade to 3.872. Between 826 and 872 is pretty hard to tell the difference from, from what I've been reading.
It's a hardware change that Valentine described as only a switch in vendor on some of the internal parts...........not a performance enhancement.
However, most feel that the 3.872 does have an edge on the 3.864 performance wise and there is a noticeable reduction in J-outs and ghosting.
I had both and the 3.872 had virtually no J-outs and was a bit hotter on 34.7............just my impression.
