Not unless you call and specifically request the tracking no. I have no idea why it's not emailed with a shipment confirm like any other retailer. Stuck in the 80s I guess.

Place your order then email your order number to v1 and you will get a reply within a few hours with the tracking info without talking to the nice lady at v1

It makes you worried the first time you place the order with them since you get nothing and you don't know if they got the order, if your card was declined or if you were on the right website

That's incorrect. They DO email an order and shipment confirmation. I recently ordered a V1 and received email confirmation. You just have to call or email separately to request the shipment tracking info.

I ordered one today, and the 80's comment hit home. They don't even take Discover Card. I just called and ordered it rather than doing it online, for fear that their ISP was on dial-up and the order wouldn't go through for a few days.

The lady told me, like you said, to call back later with my order number to confirm shipping details. Very, very out of date sight, but if the detector works good, I don't care if they have a site at all.

^ I sure hope so. I keep kicking myself in the ass for not ordering the V1 in the first place and saving the $1.00 in gas it cost me to go back to Best Buy to return the 9500.
