V1 ramp up...

Gotta give it up for the V1. After a year using and trained by it, I can tell if a radar is coming, going or just sitting still from the ramp up. Amazing.

PooPoo'd by owners of lesser devices, the V-1s consistent, linear ramp-up truly gives you a 'feel' for the threat, even before you glance at the display

Just ordered my V1, can't wait to get it. Crazy that it looks like the exact same model in the car mags when I was in high school and though "that's crazy expensive". Now it's an "investment"

Glad to see you like it so much. I have to say the same actually. The ramp up is so clear and linear and you can tell so much from it.

I just cant figure out why some other RD manufacturers are incapable of getting it right in their units .

Yea, I was on the road all week and had a V1 "Mount malfunction" on Tuesday so I decided to just take it down and finish up with the sti-r.

Don't get me wrong, the sti-r is a super RD but I really missed the RU and arrows!

The sti did give me 2 legit saves today though. Both stationary Ka I/O

I felt the same way in 1979 when I bought my first Escort out of playboy magazine ad for $299. Unbelieveable technology for the time, V1 and all the upgrades over the years has been the same type of investment.
