Why doesn't Escort come out with a RD that you can upgrade Year after Year after Year instead of being a Greedy Company that makes a RD for this and a RD for that. Some of you tell me that Escort will make anything for the Public, well I'm waiting. I could care less out the D-MN GPS CRAP. I want Stealth, Arrows, Sensitivity, Range, and QT protection.

That's not what this thread is about though. Its about VR coming out with a new RD which we know isint going to happen. and if it does happen we want it to have all the GPS gadgets too, if not just a color display that we have wanted since the 90's.

I find it odd that a business owner like Mike V would give great product details to someone here before making a press company release or?. New launches are either kept under wraps like what Apple does or there is a Press Release on some tech site or news site etc. A 1st ever RD V2after so many years is no small event; even to a company like Valentine Corp. So to get this privy info and post it here smells like methane (BS/Vaporware) IMO

Very true, and Mike V isn't one to communicate with any of us. But we can always keep our fingers crossed.

I dont think Valentine can compete with the new RD unless they come out with a new hardware update. I dont think
I've used the 8500, 9500ix, SRX, Redline and V1 - and by far the V1 is my favorite. Not sure why you'd want a change - the V1 is perfect the way it is IMO (other than being detectable by RDD's). The fancy LED displays and newer tech stuff is flashy and nice, but it's not going to improve performance, only usability which isn't important to someone who already knows the current technology like the back of his/her hand. If you're new, it may be a pain in the ass a little bit, but definitely worth it once you've figured it out.

That's the problem, it shouldn't have to be adapted to, it should be flexible enough to adapt to you. That's the reason I leave my V1.8 at home, and use Belscorts and Whistlers.

Not only does this statement makes no sense...lol! You obviously never scrolled through the V wonders menu or else you wouldn't have written that statement. Couldn't figure it out maybe? Well if this is the case then you are one of the average consumer who relies on average detectors, so I concur that the Bels & whistles are for you

Theres nothin out there like a V wonder!
