Yeah... I am guessing this is an early April fools prank.


What is with all the people on here lately talking about a new V1!?!

The more one talks (purports the idea of) a new V1, the dumber one is. Seriously, no one here has EVER had any credible information regarding a new V1 ever... and no new V1 has materialized ever...

I mean think of that... for every single "new V1" topic... not a single person has produced a single shred of evidence, and a new V1 has yet to materialize.


PEOPLE SHOULD BE GETTING BANNED FOR THIS!
People should be banned for simply making this topic or anything regarding it... and this ban notice should be a sticky.

-A perfect example is JAZZY and his moronic video he ripped (or found ripped) directly from the VR website and claimed it was in his post only able to mean that a new V1 (V2) is coming out. A temporary ban would stop such a false claim in it's tracks... and if it didn't... a permanent ban would.

(Think of someone coming on the forum and visiting and seeing his claim... and seeing the video... they might think what he claims is true... and the forum has just spread false information...)

On the first page of the V1 section there are no less than 6 (SIX) threads relating to this topic...

This needs to end now. Unless, of course, one actually has proof... at which point they would obviously be exempt from such (a) sticky.

Yea the V2 threads are getting boring. VR must be one of the most secretive companies I've seen, I mean NOTHING comes out of them. You probably have to pull teeth out just to get an answer of what the difference of a firmware revision was.

It's not secretive when you have nothing to offer mate... when the Sti came out and it ran with or beat the V1 on particular Ka-bands AND it was spectre-immune too people called VR and VR assured them they were working on 'something'... yeah... we have seen the fruits of that labor.

No it isn't that VR is secretive it is they simply haven't had any new industry-changing items/units/designs to talk about for years (read: since Jordan played for the Bulls). It's not hard to be secretive when you have nothing to hide.

VR simply hasn't had anything to hide, since they haven't been doing anything game-changing over there "...since ohhh, before you were born." (Sorry, had to through that Star Wars line in there... true or not).

Agreed, but it can go both ways. It's either extremely secret or there is nothing - simple and plain.

True... I'll give you that but:

A single invention 20-25years ago is proof they can invent things that are game-changing in this industry.

The last 15-20years of zero inventions from them in the game-changing department... is on the side of proof they aren't up to anything game changing.

Again, it boils down to we all hope... but without proof to hope upon, these threads be worthless.
Thus I think the ban-hammer for the next person who starts a new thread to clog up the front page with 7 of nearly identical topics is worth-while.
