Default My day one with V1

actually it's my night one with V1. last night i was driving back to Boston from NYC i saw at least 4 to 5 cars got pulled over along the way. i was driving within PSL the whole time since i'm still new with RD.

When i just got out New York City on I-95. my V1 went screaming for a few seconds then off before a silver chevy on my right got pulled over by a patrol car that sneaked up to him from behind. that chevy was traveling at speed only a little stand out from rest of the cars around. i forgot to check which radar band it was.

half a hour later on I-95, V1 alart went off again as i drove by another patrol car that already pulled somebody over.

but as i was on I-84 the V1 was dead silent, i encountered at least 3 dark blue patrol cars either they drove pass by me or i drove by them as they were at the stop with their victims, the V1 didn't went off once. does that mean they use lidar only?

last night was a great experience for me.

You'll have many great experiences with the V1. Keep in mind, all leos that you encounter aren't going to be running any kind of radar. A lot of them turn their radar units off after pulling someone over.

I bought a V1 used last week and tested it out and i was so giddy. I never thought much of the arrows until i seen them i'n action. I was then like wow i did i do without them? I'll send it i'n and get it tuned. Then hardwire the V1 and Escort 9500 ix and alternate between city and highway driving.

I was the same way. One doesn't understand how useful the arrows are until they personally use a V1, or perhaps a future non V1 detector.

No doubt, once you get used to the Arrows, man it's hard to go w/out them.

No. LIDAR can only be used in a stationary configuration.

Nice man, congrats on the V1.

The radar that you were alerted to, was it full blast or slowly became higher?
