Default I lost my V1 and it was found in the deep freeze !

My wife and i went to the grocery store and i took my V1 out of my car and put it in the carrying case when we got back home. I was carrying frozen food along with my v1 in its case and dropped everything in the deep freeze not realizing i just dumped Valentine in the deep freeze. My wife asked if everything was out of the car 10 min later while getting ready to take a shower. My case is always on my night stand and when i went in my room to get some towels i asked my wife Where is my radar detector? I ran out of the house in my boxers thinking i dropped it going through the back yard and some kids would pick it up. I searched the back yard and tried to remember where i had it last and i opened the freezer and there was my V1 under some frozen pizza rolls. I'm glad it was not left over night

Lmao, I don't think I've ever heard of someone pulling that off. Good thing you got it out.

My homemade case is very thick and the V1 was just a little chilled.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have hurt anything anyway. VR says the minimum storage temperature is -22F. I leave my V1 out in the car all the time when it gets down to 10 degrees outside and it still works like a champ.

I am positive that the V1 would have been fine.I have left mine in very cold temperatures and that baby keeps on ticking.

By the viewing of your story looks like you have a fatal attraction towards your V1, correct me if I'm wrong.

As long as it didn't get wet (e.g. moisture condensation) it'll be fine. Up here in the north it can get even colder than your freezer (sucks but it's true) and the V1 just takes it like a good RD should.

x2. Its routinely -5, -10, etc during the winter months here... and it doesn't cause an issue with the unit.
