    Default V1 detecting it's self

Had a play with my upgraded .872 Ka guard yesterday. It’s looking like I’m not going to be able to run it off. What's happening is the unit seems to be detecting it's self. When following a truck or road signs travelling over concrete bridges, town streets with houses either side the unit alerts to one Ka dot. I've played with it for hours and hours. I have never had that before on my other units. Did it even when the redline was off and the V1 had been rebooted. It stopped it with Ka guard turned back on. Pretty sure it’s not my car as it has no cruise control. Any Ideas

    That's odd.

How certain are you that it isn't your car?

Do you have satellite radio in New Zealand?
My V1 did what yours is doing when I had my XM radio antenna inside the car on the dash.

^Agree, if your not using another NON M3 type RD and your not using any type of GPS (I thought that only effects X band, not positive here) that's very interesting to know what the culprit is.

Forget the video. The problem is my car!!! I really have no idea why it creates an alert. The car is what you guys call a G35 (I think) turns out when the engine is running it emits a Ka freq. In testing I turned off the engine the lights where off and the V1’s Ka guard off no alert, then I turned the lights on and bang Ka hit. Lights off no Ka, engine start Ka hit... lights on engine on Ka hit. The car has no cruise control I pulled the V1 down from the window and pointed it to the side and the alert stopped so it's not coming from the lighter socket. The only thing I can find, at the front of the car if you look through the grill at night you can see a little square yellow light it turns itself off after about 30 sec after the car is switched off (could be part of the car alarm/immobiliser) but that’s it. Help pls

Does your antitheft system have a proximity sensor? If it does that may be your source?
