For NY V1 owners

I should be getting my V1 either today or Monday and wanted to know how people in NY have their V1's programmed?

Just wanted to see what others might be turning off/on in my area.

Just turn it on and go. There are plenty of brain-dead drivers in NYS such that the cops don't even bother to conceal their spot. The only problem is the ocasional use if LIDAR.

Just trying to reduce falses, should I turn off X since it seems NY does not use it anymore?

I've got X turned off. After a year of driving I couldn't find any LEO using X (almost all 34.7 Ka, and just a few locals with K) , however there are LOTS of X falsing sources, like these traffic flow sensors at traffic lights.

Won't traffic flow monitor reduce falses from your traffic light issue?

no, these traffic light sensors are different from the TSR sensors. The light sensors are constant on X band, and TSR is a pulsed K band

I only use my V1 on the thruway and sometimes rural areas where I have everything on except Ka guard & pop both off for maximum sensitivity.
