Infiniti Laser Cruise Control

So I was traveling on I-90 this afternoon with a pack of about 3 other cars all doing roughly 20+ PSL and as we crested a hill I got a laser warning and quickly moved over and got to the "legal" limit. Anyway, this scared the crap out of me and I was wondering if you guys had any Infiniti falses that caused the same reaction?


I have learned to hate these systems more and more as I encounter them!

Well known issue.
Not the cruise control, it's their brake assist system.
I drive an Infinity, and have to disable any Laser detection.
Hopefully someday someone will filter those out

I have an Infiniti as well but thankfully mine doesn't have this terrible flaw. And doesn't disabling the laser detection worry you?

Those are awful too. Especially when headed in the other direction, they look just like I/O!

Laser interceptor needs to jam the infiniti brake assist feature, make it display a check engine light or something.

The audi k bands are bad because of their high signal strength. Other vehicles (new dodge minivans) also have this feature but its not as strong.

Yeah it sucks with all/these new useless technologies out there.

Useless technology to take control of some driving functions so the driver can spend more time texting instead of driving.
